🏠 Housing
Found my place on Spotahome — shared flat with 8 people, €725/month charges included. The location was perfect, close to the center, Malasaña vibes, shops everywhere. Super safe area and only 12 min walk from my uni. Totally recommend it.
🚗 Getting to Campus
Only 12 minutes walking. Easy. And if I was lazy, metro was super quick too.
✈️ Travel Life
Weekend trips to Morocco, Granada, Cordoba, Seville — bus tickets were like €30. So worth it.
🎉 Social Life
Bars in Malasaña were my go-to. Habanera for pre-drinks, Kapital for clubbing. Always something going on. You won't be bored.
📚 Classes
I liked “Structura y dinamica de la sociedad”, “Globalizacion”, and “Recursos humanos”. Super interesting and not too hard.
🦙 Other
Madrid felt super safe. At first it was hard to trust housing stuff, but once you’re in, it’s amazing.

🏠 Housing
I booked through Spotahome. Lived solo next to the opera. Honestly preferred being in the center than near the uni. I walked everywhere — day, night, to parties. Paid €950/month tho. Residences are even more expensive and smaller.
🚗 Getting to Campus
Metro to school. Only had 3 days of class, so I didn’t mind. The rest of the time? City was mine.
✈️ Travel Life
Seville, Valencia, Toledo, Ibiza, Canaries — didn’t stop traveling. Spain is so easy to move around.
🎉 Social Life
BuleBule club was my spot. Met people fast. Center location helped. Could always walk home after going out, even late.
📚 Classes
If you're smart, pick courses based on schedule — I had 3 days a week. Easy to enjoy the rest. Super chill uni, great vibe.
🦙 Other
Madrid is expensive, but 100% worth it. Pick location > apartment size. You’ll thank me later.

🏠 Housing
Got an apartment in Malasaña through a friend’s rec. Calm, secure, perfect area. Paid €740/month. Only downside? Madrid student flats have trash lighting. Like, bring a lamp or live in a cave.
🚗 Getting to Campus
30 min to IE by metro. Totally doable, plus the area was worth it.
✈️ Travel Life
Did Lisbon, Rome, Marrakech, Valencia. Easy flights, good vibes, and amazing food.
🎉 Social Life
Lula Club, Istar, Los Amantes — best clubs. For food: Honest Greens, Sushita, Zuma, Makan. Madrid nightlife is NEXT LEVEL.
📚 Classes
Keep it simple: Human capital, Strategies, Marketing. Don’t complicate your life.
🦙 Other
The market is insane. Expensive, not a lot of trust, so book through real sites or someone you know.

🏠 Housing
Shared a massive flat with 11 people — full center. Booked through Help Housing on Housing Anywhere. Only €550/month. Best choice ever. So many friends, so many parties.
🚗 Getting to Campus
Further from the uni, but being central is way better. You don’t wanna live next to a school. Metro makes everything close anyway. ✈️ Travel Life Weekend in Paris, and local trips too. Madrid is a great base.
🎉 Social Life
ICON and Fucking Monday were the best. Just be in a colocation — if you live alone it’s hard to meet people.
📚 Classes
Similar level to my business school. Want to be safe? Pick classes one year below and avoid the heavy stuff.
🦙 Other
Living in the center >>> everything else. Trust me on this.

🏠 Housing
Stayed at RESA — student res near Avenida del Comandante Franco. Concierge, cleaning, meals. Modern rooms, small but solid setup. Around €1000/month.
🚗 Getting to Campus
Super close to IE, in a chill area (Nueva España). Metro close by if you wanna hit the center.
✈️ Travel Life
Didn’t mention travel but location made weekend getaways easy if you wanted to.
🎉 Social Life
Not the wildest, but perfect if you like a calmer base and going out when you feel like it.
📚 Classes
Didn’t say much, but IE is known for flexible schedules. You’ll find a way to live your best life.
🦙 Other
RESA is good if you want comfort + structure. Not the party house, but clean and easy.
