Regent’s University
🏠 Housing
I stayed in the on-campus residence inside Regent’s Park — it felt surreal. Safe, beautiful, and super social. I had my own room with a shared kitchen and a meal plan included. Yes, it’s pricey, but honestly worth it for the vibe, location, and peace of mind.
🚗 Getting to Campus
Took me 3 minutes to get to class. Literally rolled out of bed and walked through a park. The best part? Baker Street and 5 Tube lines are right outside — easy to go anywhere in London.
✈️ Travel Life
Spent weekends in Bath, Oxford, Brighton, and even popped over to Paris. London is the perfect base. Trains, buses, and flights are everywhere — just plan ahead to save money.
🎉 Social Life
The residence was full of international students. Everyone’s down to explore, grab drinks in Soho, or dance in Camden. I met my closest friends at the student welcome BBQ the first week.
📚 Classes
I took Luxury Brand Management and Digital Marketing — light on theory, heavy on fun projects. Teachers are chill, but you still learn a lot. Plenty of time to enjoy London.
🦙 Other
Regent’s felt like a bubble — in the best way. It’s central but calm, and everything just works. If you want an easy, high-quality London exchange: this is it.
🏠 Housing
I lived at The Arcade by IQ. Not glamorous, but super practical — 5 minutes from class, safe, and had everything I needed. Around £1000/month, all bills included. No drama, just convenience.
🚗 Getting to Campus
So easy. Holloway Road is well connected — Tube, buses, shops, cafés. I walked to class every day and only needed public transport for going out or exploring.
✈️ Travel Life
Did day trips to Windsor and Oxford, plus weekends in Edinburgh and Amsterdam. London has so many cheap travel options if you look early. Night buses saved me a few times.
🎉 Social Life
The uni was super mixed — locals and internationals. I joined a few societies and met people that way. Camden was our go-to for student nights, especially The Roxy and The World's End.
📚 Classes
Studied International Business and Media. Not too heavy, mostly essays and group work. The campus isn’t fancy, but it does the job — and the profs are supportive.
🦙 Other
If you’re not picky and just want something that works, The Arcade + London Met is a solid combo. Affordable, easy to navigate, and you’ll still get the full London life.
